The left engine separated from the aircraft and struck the north corner of this building at ground level. The aircraft's right engine was found resting beneath a concrete water tank on the building's rooftop. The inboard section of the right wing was recovered near this area.

India's aircraft accident investigation body said on Thursday it was too early to reach any "definite conclusions" on what led to the deadly Air India Boeing plane crash last month that killed 260 people.

The cockpit voice recording captured one pilot asking, “Why did you cut off?” and the other replying, “I didn’t.” The AAIB report, however, did not identify which pilot said what.
