Nearly 50 Florida cities and counties will host “Good Trouble Lives On" events protesting the Trump administration on Thursday including in Pensacola.

More than 200 rallied in Fort Myers to honor John Lewis and protest what they see as threats to civil and human rights.

Demonstrators turned out at two locations in Pensacola for the “Good Trouble Lives On” nationwide protest on July 17.

Activists that organized the protest advocated that those in attendance consider employing civil disobedience in response to Florida’s controversial new immigration detention centers.

"Good Trouble Lives On" protests will be taking place across the country on Thursday, including in Central Florida. Nearly 50 Florida cities are expected to host the national day of action protests in response to "the attacks on our civil and human rights" by Donald Trump's administration.
