A 79-year-old Jacksonville man who wandered off the summit of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire has prompted a multi-day search by state parks personnel, wildlife officers and volunteers, the New Hampshire Fish & Game Law Enforcement Division said.

Two Canadian hikers were rescued after becoming stranded in steep terrain on Mount Washington Tuesday night, authorities said.
