Thomas Frank lauded Mohammed Kudus’ Tottenham debut as “exciting” as the Ghanaian made his bow in Spurs’ 2-0 victory at Reading.

Thomas Frank has named his first Tottenham Hotspur starting XI for the visit to Reading on Saturday in the first friendly of the north London club's summer. The Dane told the media on Friday that he would select two different Spurs XIs for each half of the contest against their League One hosts with Son Heung-min captaining one side in one half while Cristian Romero would captain the other and he has been true to his word.

Justin Cochrane, who supported Frank for three years at Brentford and is part of Thomas Tuchel’s England staff, will plan the training sessions and primarily work with the attacking players. Wells will remain in charge of the defence. He could be spotted in the warm-ups before matches last season leading the back four through defensive drills.
