Wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has died at the age of 71, his manager confirmed Thursday. Hogan was a fixture with the WWE for decades, starting his career in wrestling career in 1977 before retiring in 2012. He won six WWE championships and Sylvester Stallone inducted him into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.

Professional wrestling legend Hulk Hogan died Thursday at the age of 71. TMZ reports medics were called to the iconic grappler’s Clearwater, Florida home for reports of a cardiac arrest. Numerous police cars and EMTs responded to the scene where Hogan was carted out of the home on a stretcher.

Hogan was influential in the rise of wrestling worldwide and was WWE's first major star. He was a six-time WWE Champion and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice, once in 2005 and in 2020 as part of the New World Order.
