Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Telegram that Russia launched more than 300 drones and over 30 cruise missiles overnight, killing one person and injuring six others in Odesa, Xinhua news agency reported.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said four drones were shot down on approach to the capital, with blasts heard near Zvenigorod, Istra, and Zelenograd — suburban districts and satellite towns located to the west and northwest of central Moscow.
Russia's Defense Ministry said its forces downed at least 143 Ukrainian drones from Wednesday into Thursday, with at least three craft intercepted over Moscow region.
