One of Caitlin Clark's teammates on the Indiana Fever will take her spot in the WNBA 3-point contest this weekend. On Friday morning the WNBA announced that Lexie Hull will replace Clark and represent the host city in the competition.

Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull will replace teammate Caitlin Clark in the 3-point contest during WNBA All-Star weekend Friday night, the team announced Friday morning. Clark announced Thursday that she would not participate in the 3-point contest Friday or the All-Star Game on Saturday due to a right groin injury.

Clark’s replacement for the All-Star Game was announced on Thursday, with Washington Mystics guard Brittney Sykes getting the nod. As for the 3-point contest, the WNBA revealed Friday morning that Clark’s Fever teammate and good friend Lexie Hull will take her spot.
