Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating the shooting death of a man Sunday morning just east of Troost Avenue.

Flash Flood Warning were issued for central portions of the state where the heaviest rain fell. Flash Flooding was reported around the Winterset area with the Iowa DOT reporting Highway 92 was briefly flooded.

On Sunday at 5:15 a.m. a flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 9:15 a.m. for Monmouth and Ocean counties.
